The International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) comprises a network of management consultancy associations and institutes worldwide, who have a common purpose and shared values and goals.  The goal of ICMCI is to promote a closer working relationship between all management consulting institutes with a primary focus on raising the standards of the profession of management consulting and to create worldwide recognition and acceptance of the CMC (Certified Management Consultant) mark.

The ICMCI Academic Fellow designation is intended to confer a mark of distinction which recognizes those academics and teaching practitioners who have contributed to the study and teaching of management consultancy. You will be joining an exclusive community who have a passion for the delivery and dissemination of management consulting education.

ICMCI’s Board of the Academic Fellow Panel  approved the IMCHK's nomination of Academic Fellow. Dr. Terence Chung (CMC) has accepted the nomination and Academic Fellow honorary designation of ICMCI.

(1) The Certified Sustainable Development Planner (CSDP) is a certified professional qualification of WISDP in sustainble development and part of partnership program of United Nations Sustainable Development Planning Toward 2030 #SDG Action 26908 of United Nations. The CSDP Mentorship Program is a new extension of WISDP membership promotion and CSDP recruitment in 2022. Under the partnership between WISDP and IMCHK, doctorate candidates or chartered / certified / management professional of IMCHK may apply and join the WISDP Mentorship Program to earn CSDP qualification. Management consultants may develop sustainable development professionals to extend their career development path.

(2) The Mentoring Program of IMCHK was developed in 2017 to provide IMCHK mentoring to IMC members. The CMC Mentorship Program is the extension of Mentoring Program in 2019 to promote IMCHK mentoring to CMC candidates and support CMC recruitment. Under the partnership  between IMCHK and WISDP, doctorate candidates or chartered / certified / management professional of WISDP may apply and join the CMC Mentorship Program to earn their CMC qualification. They may develop their second profession in management consultancy to extend their career development path.

Doctorate candidates or chartered / certified / management professionals are qualified to join to the CMC Mentorship Program and earn their CMC qualification. They may develop second profession in management consultancy to extend career development path. The CMC candidates will be assigned a mentor (senior CMC) to guide their CMC competency development, which includes short training, case study, interview and ethical test within 6 to 12 months.

IMCHK signed MOU on CMC Mentorship Program with CMA Australia on 23 May 2020

Professor Allen Wong is the Founding President and Chief Executive - Greater China, The Institute of Certified Management Accountants HK - CMA Australia.  IMCHK Council recognized his contribution to the education, and industries and society in Hong Kong and China. IMCHK support and approved the nomination and Professor Wong would be the second Honorary Fellow of IMCHK.

The Mentoring Program of IMCHK was developed in 2017 to help IMCHK members to settle into the management consulting industry effectively. The CMC Mentorship Program (Trial) is a new extension of Mentoring Program in 2020 to promote IMCHK mentoring and CMC recruitment. Doctorate candidates or chartered / certified professionals may apply to join the CMC Mentorship Program to earn their CMC qualification. They may develop their second profession in management consultancy to extend their career development path. Professor Alfred Ho

Professor Alfred Ho was retired FCMC and nominated for Honorary Fellow. IMCHK Council recognized Professor Ho's contribution to the society, industries and education  in Hong Kong.  Council approved the nomination and Professor Ho would be the first nomination of Honorary Fellow of IMCHK.
